More Press for ‘Living in the Body’

 Posted on November 7, 2010

The exhibit and my work has gotten a lot of press, especially on the internet! Many thanks to ‘Peaceful Parenting’ for the following blogpost, which in turn spurned other posts and links. It’s a great feature of my work and it encourages local blogfollowers to check out the show- thank you!
Peaceful Parenting post- ‘Toronto Art Exhibit…’

Related are a couple of other blogs mentioning the show;
The Joy of This is a lovely blog, and she also displays some of the older ‘Birth Project’ paintings

Another great blog my work:
Wild as Weeds

Jennifer Posti was also reviewed by Toronto art critic Peter Goddard in the Toronto Star, as
‘this week’s entertainment picks’. Way to go Jen! Jen’s show ‘Stay at Home’ is running at Gallery 1313 while ‘Living in the Body’ is running.

Commissions:
I’ve had lots of inquiries on whether I accept commissions. I do welcome commissions; birth, pregnancy or otherwise. Please contact me to discuss your request at rose_arc@hotmail.com
For reference, I work life-size, and the rate is approx $125/square foot.

Prints:
I’m unsure yet whether I will make prints. I would rather focus my energy on painting and selling original work. In some ways I feel making prints diminishes the value of the painting. However, I realize purchasing a large painting is not in everyone’s budget, so I may consider doing a limited number of prints of certain peices in the future.

    It would be wonderful if you did make prints! I am wildly in love with your work, but as a mother and midwifery student it simply isn't in our budget.

    Thank you for capturing such beautiful moments~

    I wish you'd do prints, too! I absolutely love your art, but have the same problem as C.
