I am at the National Hotel relaxing after a long, inspiring day at the CAPPA conference. I've never been at a birth-related conference SURROUNDED by amazing, as-large-as-life birth art before. I listened to the speakers, but my eyes were drawn to various women giving birth with halos around their heads and birds singing near their ears and tree roots below them… Wow! I wish I could have ALL of these paintings for my house.
